Brewing good: Periscope gives back to the community through beer

11.19.18

We harnessed our homebrewing skills to create 10 different Periscope brews in a variety of styles and flavors to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation

Raise your glasses! We raised over $1,500 for the Make-A-Wish foundation while sipping on an array of custom-made beers, ciders and sours, brewed by our very own employees at our first annual charity brewfest.

The tasting lineup included pale pilsners, full-bodied ales and a variety of ciders ranging from crisp and dry to sparkling and sweet.

While each homebrewer’s efforts were valiant (and delicious), one flavor collected the most votes for the win, offering a unique flavor profile, smooth finish and compelling backstory.

Parking Lot Pepper Pale Ale, created by a team from Periscope’s P4 studio, is a bright, extra blonde brew made from ingredients harvested and foraged right in our P4 studio’s parking lot. Sounds a little questionable, but it was tasty. And hey, it was all for a good cause.
