Kelsey Soby, former FOX 9 morning anchor, reporter and talk show host, joins the Periscope team as the director of marketing and business development.

A perpetual innovator, problem-solver, relationship-builder and strategic communicator, Kelsey Soby lands in a perfect role to balance her love of creating with her passion for business strategy. Kelsey joins Periscope as the director of marketing and business development from KMSP-TV, where she was a FOX 9 morning anchor, reporter, content creator, talk show host and project manager. Prior to her role in the Twin Cities news market, Kelsey was a multiplatform reporter and anchor at WDAY-TV and KEYC-TV and worked in the Tennessee governor’s communications office and at Ameriprise Financial. Whether creating compelling television, building government communication strategies or analyzing financial spreadsheets, Kelsey understands how to make an impact in her work, and with a dynamic background (including a degree in Human and Organizational Development and Leadership from Vanderbilt University) she sees opportunities for creativity to drive business results in companies across all industries.

“Kelsey’s ability to deliver tangible business results through creative vision and leadership and a solid understanding of business make her ideally suited for this new role at Periscope,” said Greg Kurowski, Periscope president and CEO. “While TV viewers miss seeing Kelsey’s positive energy on air, we are delighted she’s stepped out from in front of the camera to build on Periscope’s continued growth and expand visibility nationally for the agency.”
